Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic has reached a breaking point in terms of health, wealth, and society. The world's economy has fallen to the cruel hold of the coronavirus, which has now spread to every corner of the planet. Covid-19's impact on Bangladesh's banking  industry is the topic of this research. A qualitative approach was used to accomplish the study's objectives. According to the study,  COVID-19 has a wide variety of economic and financial impacts in Bangladesh. During this time of severe lockdown, the Bangladeshi  banking industry is experiencing significant financial losses, an increase in the number of loans that are not being repaid, individual  investments, and a decline in operating profitability. The bank workers' capacity to carry out their regular responsibilities is seriously  impaired.
