Refugee Crisis in Bangladesh; Problems and Solution: Case Study - Rohingya Issue

Abstract

This article examines the problems and the solutions to the Rohingya refugee crisis and its impact on Bangladesh. The key concern, which is at the heart of this study is to explore the causes of the crisis, and then understand the economic, political, social, environmental, cultural impacts of the crisis all of which are adversely affecting our country. In the context of Bangladesh’s national security, the crisis will become a potential threat to Bangladesh, its neighbors and the region. So it is necessary for Bangladesh to solve the issue for its own national security and consecutive development. This article attempts to investigate the possible solutions to the Rohingya refugee crisis. By providing an analysis of the problems and the solutions, this article attempts to point out the way of Rohingya repatriation and the sustainable peace to the region.
