Class, Culture and Reproduction Re-Reading Bourdiea

Abstract

This paper discusses three conceptual models of social reproduction with focus on education. From a radical perspective, Giroux (1983) identified three kinds of models in relation  to school and reproduction such as; economic-reproductive model, hegemonic state reproductive model and culture reproductive model.
